-Please use this if you are more on the Light RP side, you are in character, but not so lore driven, or are a newer RPer just trying it out for the first time.

-Please use this if you are just here to observe or do not want to engage in RP. BUT also be aware this is an RP venue, please do not interrupt or interfere with the RP activities, be respectful of your fellow players.

The Amethyst Owl hosts a variety of events. Keep an eye on the calendar, or Events Channel on the Discord to see what's coming up! Just a sample of the happenings at The Owl:
- Social Events - Meet old friends and make new ones!
- DJ/Dance Nights - Boogie the night away with the best DJs in Eorzea!
- Performances - Bards, bands, stand-up comedy... all are welcome to request the stage for a performance!

- Game Nights - Pit your skills and try your luck in a variety of games. Tourney of Champions to Triple Triad!

-All Tempest Talons rules apply at The Amethyst Owl.
-NO Trolling, Godmoding, Metagaming, Retconning or Copycatting.
-As a roleplaying venue, the Amethyst Owl encourages people to stay in character.
-This is a safe space for adventurers, there will be NO fighting allowed on premises, the sole exception are the sanctioned tournaments.
-No public ERP, explicit activity, or nudity. Our venue is safe for work. Private rooms are available for those activities.
-Please refrain from talking about the main story and keep chat spoiler free.
-The Amethyst Owl welcomes people new to RP, especially those who are nervous or new to the idea. If that's you, we'd love you to show up and observe if you want, join when you are ready!
-Only engage in RP that you are comfortable with! If you've concerns on any RP happening in the venue, reach out to Y’etala.
-If anyone is breaking the FFXIV Terms of Service (i.e. harassment/discriminatory remarks/stalking/etc), reach out to a GM (Game Master support) immediately.
Job Board
JOB BOARD
The reputation of the Tempest Talons is well known, thus we get many requests for our highly skilled and knowledgeable Adventurers to assist in a variety of missions. From simple escort missions to assignments that might be in a little grey area, we're sure everyone can find a job that suits them.
The Amethyst Owl’s job board overflows with missions for the Tempest Talons. Pair up, venture forth, and create a story.Our next roleplay event is an opportunity to make new “in character” friends (or frenemies). You’ll team up with a new roleplay partner (a Talon who you don’t know “in character”), go to a location on the map, and get to know one another.- Missions are simple hooks (a situation + location) provided to spark inspiration. Use of the situations are optional.
- There is no “meta plot” beyond your characters being in the same Free Company.
- We’ll provide suggestions for players about ways they might roleplay out their scene, if needed.
- The only event rules: Events for all ages (assume a PG-13 rating unless your RP partner consents otherwise). You must team up with someone who is not a regular RP partner and leave the public areas of the FC house / Lavender Beds.CURRENT JOB BOARD LISTINGS:
